Welcome to the home page of Cub Scout Pack 1076!  

Our Pack is chartered by the Franconia Moose Family Center, # 1076, located in Alexandria, Virginia.  

The pack normally meets the third Thursday of the month at the Franconia Family Moose Center from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Dates and times are subject to change so please contact us for more information. Our dens meet at either the Franconia Family Moose Center, Island Creek Elementary or Lane Elementary.  Days and times of den meetings vary from den to den. Please contact us for more information.

The purpose of the Boy Scouts of America—incorporated on February 8, 1910, and chartered by Congress in 1916—is to provide an educational program for boys and girls to build character, to train in the responsibilities of participating citizenship, and to develop personal fitness.

Lion Cubs are NEW to to the program - Kindergartners can now join Cub Scouts and work toward the Lion rank. The Lion rank is earned by completing five core adventures wiith their adult partner.  

Tiger:  First grade boys and girls work towards their Tiger rank and participate in the program with their adult partners. The program emphasizes shared leadership, learning about the community, and family understanding.

Wolf:  Second grade boys and girls work towards their Wold rank. All rank activities emphasize character development, citizenship training, and personal fitness.

Bear: Third grade boys and girls work towards their Bear rank. All rank activities emphasize character development, citizenship training, and personal fitness.

Webelos Scouts: Fourth grade boys and girls work towards their Webelos rank.  All rank activities emphasize character development, citizenship training, and personal fitness.*If a fourth-grade Cub Scout has completed the Webelos rank, they may begin to work on the Arrow of Light.

Arrow of Light: Fifth grade boys and girls work toward the Arrow of Light rank.  All rank activities emphasize character development, citizenship training, and personal fitness.
